About the Role

MCC Restoration, a general contractor specializing in multifamily renovations across 14 states, is seeking a seasoned, tech-savvy, and administratively sound Project Manager to join our Denver-based operations team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee multifamily restoration and remodeling projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include managing project schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety protocols. As the primary client-facing representative, you will ensure clear, consistent communication and alignment between project outcomes and client expectations. 

The Ideal Candidate will Possess

  • Extensive experience in construction project management, particularly within the multifamily restoration and remodeling sector 

  • Proficiency with construction operations management software such as Procore 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (remote, in-office, and on-site) 

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed 

Key Responsibilites

Client & Team Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; manage all communications related to project updates, timelines, scope, and issues 

  • Provide timely, accurate updates to clients and MCC leadership on progress, delays, budget concerns, and scope changes 

  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients to build trust and ensure future collaboration 

  • Maintain consistent engagement with clients, subcontractors, project teams, and internal management 

Schedule Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., Gantt charts, milestone tracking) using Procore, Monday.com, or similar software 

  • Oversee all scheduling activities from pre-construction through final delivery 

  • Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to ensure alignment with project milestones 

  • Manage multiple, concurrent job sites while maintaining progress across all active projects 

Budget Oversight

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets from kickoff through closeout 

  • Monitor materials, subcontractor costs, and overall project spending 

  • Identify and mitigate budget risks in collaboration with the estimating team 

  • Review subcontractor invoices and material costs, track variances, and implement adjustments as needed 

  • Ensure timely completion of progress billing and reconcile discrepancies between actual costs and budget 

Project Quality & Safety

  • Oversee project quality control by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and executed work 

  • Conduct routine jobsite visits to verify compliance with plans and scopes of work 

  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed and lead on-site safety meetings as required 

  • Manage material procurement, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in quantity and specification 

  • Enforce adherence to safety standards among subcontractors and internal teams

Documentation & Administration

  • Draft and negotiate subcontracts with clearly defined terms and scopes 

  • Coordinate and document all change orders; collaborate with estimating to ensure accurate pricing and scope adjustments 

  • Submit weekly project updates, including safety documentation and client progress reports 

  • Maintain accurate inventory and material usage records to minimize waste and control costs 

  • Complete and archive all documentation in Procore and relevant platforms for proper recordkeeping 

Team Leadership

  • Lead weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and project teams to review progress and address issues 

  • Ensure effective communication between field and office staff to meet project goals 

  • Assist in allocating resources to ensure adequate staffing and support 

  • Resolve project-related issues proactively to maintain continuity and progress 

  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in project management, safety, and client service 

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with multifamily renovation or general contracting projects. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor oversight. 

  • Strong working knowledge of construction project lifecycles, jobsite safety protocols, and permit management. 

  • Demonstrated experience with subcontractor coordination, contract execution, and document compliance (e.g., W-9s, insurance certificates, master contracts). 

  • Familiarity with budget tracking, change order management, and G703 billing formats. 

  • Proficiency with construction software tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or comparable platforms. 

  • Willingness and ability to travel out of state periodically for project oversight (quality control, project progress, client relations, etc.) (typically 2-day site visits). 

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills to oversee complex workflows. 

  • Clear and consistent communicator, both internally with team members and externally with subcontractors and clients. 

  • Capable of balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution, including identifying risks and solving issues proactively. 

  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure project continuity and client satisfaction. 

  • Resourceful and adaptable—able to solve material delays, vendor issues, or jobsite challenges quickly and creatively. 

  • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices, with confidence to enforce compliance and issue corrective actions as needed. 

  • Comfortable providing weekly progress updates and documentation, including site photos, reporting, and material projections. 

  • Team-oriented, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement and professional development. 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
